Collaborative Pianist
Lee Stubbe

Lee Stubbe (M. Mus., B.Mus.) started playing piano when he was 8 years old. Along with lesson repertoire, he spent hours playing music he loved by ear and jamming on his keyboard. He completed an undergraduate degree at the U of R in piano performance and music history, and a masters degree at Western University in musicology. Now, he enjoys a full-time music career of accompanying for singers, choirs and instrumental soloists, teaching piano students, and leading choirs in his role as musical director of a church. Along the way, he has cultivated improvising skills, not only on the piano but on harpsichord, in a historically-informed style.  Lee first worked with Dorianna over ten years ago, accompanying for one of her first choirs; he is thrilled to be working with her again for this project!
